Roadmap to Zero Programme

Suppliers Roadmap to Zero Updates 

Wastewater and Sludge Guidelines V2* are now aligned with ZDHC MRSL V3.1, featuring stricter reporting limits and new test methods.

* Previously called “Wastewater Guidelines,” the name has changed to “Wastewater and Sludge Guidelines.” The versioning has also been standardised — what was PDF V2.2 became V1 upon digitalisation. This latest release is now V2.

The Sampling Analysis Plan V3.0 has been updated to align with the new guidelines.

New Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) Assessment Chapter; ZDHC protocol for voluntary ETP assessment by Approved Solution Providers, evaluating design, operation, and team competence to help brands gauge performance and suppliers identify improvements.

MMCF Guidelines and Standard Industry Implementation Plan V3.0 Launched

The guidelines are now organised into three chapters: Input, Process and Output Management — aligning with the new Suppliers Roadmap to Zero in preparation for fibre guidelines to move to a digitalised platform in the future.

QR Codes Boosting Transparency on the Gateway

QR codes are coming to the ZDHC Gateway next week – making product information more visible, verifiable, and transparent for formulators, suppliers, and partners across the value chain.

Important Updates

Changes to the ZDHC Gateway – Chemicals to Zero Implementation from 1 December 2025.

Starting 1 December 2025, the ZDHC Gateway will introduce key updates to support the next phase of the Chemicals to Zero Programme and prepare for future Progressive certifications.
