On 17 August 2026, the relaunched ZDHC Gateway went live, giving you a refreshed platform experience to support your day-to-day work.

ZDHC Water Use Benchmarks - Textiles: Industry Review 

The draft of ZDHC Water Use Benchmarks for Textiles is now available on roadmaptozero.com and ready for ZDHC community review. 

Developed to improve water efficiency for textile wet-processing facilities, with an aim to improve consistent water measurement and reduction practices across textile supply chains.

Deadline for comments is 31 December 2026

Circularity Summit 2026: Meet Us At MAAT 

We’re excited to welcome you to MAAT – Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology, one of Lisbon’s most iconic cultural venues, on 4–5 November 2026. Join us for two days of insight, exchange and collaboration on scalable circularity.

The programme will combine strategic plenaries, expert panels, practical case studies and interactive discussions to unpack the chemistry behind scalable circularity. The ZDHC Circularity Summit will tackle the real barriers to implementation: feedstock quality, contaminants, dyeing and finishing impacts, chemical compliance in recycled outputs, and the practical realities of scaling solutions across the value chain.

ZDHC at the Innovation Forum's Sustainable Commodities and Landscapes Forum 

The event brings together over 200 supply chain and sustainability professionals from agriculture, apparel, and beyond to address climate resilience, supply security, and competitiveness across commodity value chains.

Date & Location: 3 - 4 November 2026, Amsterdam 

Lauren Zahringer, ZDHC's Market Engagement & Stakeholder Development Manager, will moderate a session at the forum, Financial and non-financial incentives to support the adoption of technology, innovation and farmer practice change.

Gender & Chemicals Knowledge Platform Launch

A new digital platform consolidating global knowledge on chemicals and gender equality, developed by the Gender & Chemicals Partnership (G&CP) (of which ZDHC is a Board member). The platform serves as a central hub for researchers, policymakers, NGOs, industry and others working across environmental health and gender justice, providing research, policy resources, and practical tools to support gender-responsive chemicals management worldwide.

Developed through collaboration among international experts and partner organisations, strengthening gender-responsive chemicals and waste management at the global, regional, and national levels.
