ZDHC Academy Reboot
The ZDHC Academy is being updated. Evolving to better reflect how the Roadmap to Zero Programme works in practice.
From March, the ZDHC Academy will be updated.
-
Easier to navigate and find the right learning
-
Applicability-led learning, guiding users to courses that are relevant to their role and sector
-
Replacing outdated courses with new courses aligned with the updated Roadmap to Zero Programme.
Not everyone in the supply chain needs the same training. The updated ZDHC Academy reflects that reality. This update is about relevance, focus, and making learning work better for the industry.

Supplier to Zero V2 Self Assessment Pilot |
|
The Supplier to Zero V2 pilot engaged 50 suppliers across a range of facility types, generating strong participation and valuable feedback.
Participants welcomed the opportunity to support continuous improvement and found the self-assessment useful for identifying gaps and clarifying expectations.
Key insights highlighted the need for clearer guidance, better calibration of performance levels, and stronger alignment with existing supplier systems to support practical and scalable adoption.
We are now reviewing this feedback and revising the requirements. Followed by a 2nd consultation with Signatories and participating suppliers. |

ZDHC Chemical Watchlist
Next week, ZDHC will launch the new Chemical Watchlist, a sector-specific reference for Substances of Concern that helps our Committed Community stay ahead of CSRD and other emerging regulatory and market expectations. It boosts transparency on hazardous substances across textile, apparel, leather and footwear value chains, without adding a new restriction list.
Brands, suppliers and chemical formulators can use it to spot substances of concern, sharpen materiality assessments, and prioritise risk management and substitution. It also gives auditors, platforms and policymakers a harmonised, expert-driven reference that links regulation to real-world implementation.
